How to access an online event

This is a how-to guide on the basics of logging-in and entering the virtual event for the first time.

Instructions

Entering and leaving the Event

Log in to the event at https://xxx.online-event.co

  • your specific event URL will be provided which will replace the xxx's

Username

  • enter the email address you registered with

Password – enter the password you entered when registering. Passwords must meet minimum security requirements. If you enter a password that does not, the system will let you know what you need to change.

Lost passwords – please see login page where you can request a password reminder.

If guest access is being used, you may be able to access parts of the event without needing to be registered. This will include visiting booths and viewing some webcasts. However, to download content and to participate in live chat you will be asked to either login or register. 

On entering the event, a welcome video may automatically play. You can expand this to watch it in full screen and replay it at any time. 

Lecture Theatre/Auditorium

Visit this area to watch webcast presentations and some videos (see section on Participating in Presentations).

Networking Lounge

Here you can participate in live chat, comment on discussion subjects and read FAQs and respond to polls. You may comment on the poll results. Additionally, you can access social media feeds.

View useful documentation, links and videos which can also be downloaded or added to your event bag. 

Video Channel 

You can visit this area to watch a selection of videos. Read a summary of the video content and click to play.

 

If your password doesn’t work, you can always reset it at the login screen.
